Fair Haven

Fair Haven is Alabama’s first Life Plan Community and has fully implemented the Action Pact Household Model of care within Assisted Living and Nursing. As a faith-based, nonprofit organization, Fair Haven provides multiple levels of living and care within one established campus.

Residents have access to Independent Living, Independent Living Plus, Independent Living Bridge, Assisted Living, Memory Care, Rehabilitation and Nursing services. Amenities include a beauty salon and barbershop, ice cream parlor, bistro, grand living room, gym, gift shop, chapel  and other shared spaces designed for comfort and connection. We also offer a full activity calendar supporting a variety of interests and diversions. Residents have ample opportunity to form friendships and enjoy a sense of true community.

Independent Living at Fair Haven offers a maintenance-free residential lifestyle, with weekly housekeeping provided, enabling residents to focus on how they choose to spend their time.

Residents enjoy a variety of dining options, transportation options and access to activities coordinated by the Life Enrichment team, along with the privacy of their own apartment.

Assisted Living at Fair Haven operates within the Household Model of care. Residents are supported with assistance based on individual needs while maintaining dignity and personal choice.

Support may include help with daily tasks, medication management and coordination of care. Memory Care, Rehabilitation and Nursing services are also available within the Life Plan structure if needs change.

Fair Haven’s Life Enrichment Coordinator develops a calendar of events and programs for residents. Activities are designed to encourage engagement, support individual interests and promote a healthy, active lifestyle for every resident with special care given to their individual needs. Yes. Fair Haven provides both long-term care and rehabilitation services. Rehabilitation supports individuals recovering from surgery, illness or injury through physical, occupational and speech therapy. Long term care offers comprehensive support for residents who require ongoing medical oversight and assistance with daily living.
